About Melody

A true drifter in the underbelly of the Calgary musical cover scene for the last several years, this rogue songstress can’t get enough of a fresh rendition of an old song. 

She sees it her mission to bring an element of overblown high notes and melodramatic trills to every stage she can. 

Music is her weapon of choice. 

Her banter is inappropriate, but amusing. 

She aspires to have fun and get the crowd to as well. She believes band life is a journey, and a night of music should be no different.

A true show-woman devoted to entertainment in all its aspects, and with a penchant for cursing, she delights in the dramatics that only performance can provide.

With movie soundtracks for inspiration and wardrobe from every decade, she gives great regard to a musical theme. 

Specializing in the soul, pop, rock and power ballad vein but also can be found scatting jazz, belting musical theatre and has been a voice for many a cartoon and jingle.

Most recently Melody has started to rap... God help us all.
